First job was Target, then went on to be a BLS instructor, an EMT, and finally an 8th grade teacher in South Central LA

Why I'm at VCMC:

Its a badass program! The training is incomparable and you really are fit to go anywhere after. You can choose inpatient medicine, OB, outpatient medicine, addiction medicine, and so much more--and you'll even be ready for ICU patients and traumas, wherever you work. The people you work alongside are pretty awesome, too!

Things that matter to me:

Travel, Bachata, Wine and Cheese Pairing, Sleeping, Paddleboarding, Skydiving, Cooking and Hosting

I enjoy...

The differential of a day off includes sleep v. catching up on laundry v. hiking hopefully to a body of water v. walk along the beach to a brewery v. paddleboarding v. getting outside of VTA (SB, LA, Pismo, Paso, Solvang)

One random fact about me...

You cannot eat anywhere near my bedroom, and certainly not in my bed. Or you'll watch me really freak out.
