Why I'm at VCMC:
I was really drawn to VCMC for it's broad spectrum training, high-volume OB experience, procedural training, and global health outlook. What sold me on the program though was the feeling around the hospital and clinic, the feeling of being a family, being a team, and mutual respect which pervades from the CMO's office through the housekeepers. It is truly a unique work environment
Things that matter to me:
I really enjoy OB and feel its very important to protect reproductive rights of our patients; I love doing procedures, really enjoy my time with my continuity patients, and appreciate learning how to teach family medicine, in the hopes of one day founding a residency overseas
I love to surf, hike, run, rock climb, and spend time with my girlfriend Steph and puppy River
