Matthew Combs, MD

Loma Linda University

I was born at VCMC as my dad was finishing his last year of residency so I have come back to my roots. I grew up in Temecula, CA,  did undergrad at Westmont College in Santa Barbara and went to medical school at Loma Linda University. Medicine has been an interest of mine since I was a youngster, but  it really became a passion after traveling oversees to Haiti. I love how the vocation of medicine is a universal profession and I could take my knowledge and training anywhere in the world and help others.

Ventura is a beautiful city with an incredible full-spectrum residency program. The decision to go here was a no-brainer. I plan to use my training at VCMC to help those in need in the United States and internationally.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife, and being outside. My motivations are my family, God and my patients.
