At my core, I am a small-town kid from Montana who enjoys getting lost in the woods and knowing his neighbors by name. My rural roots were extremely influential in my decision to pursue a career in full-spectrum family medicine as my long-term goal is to serve a community similar to the one that raised me.
As a physician, I believe the most powerful tool I have is the relationships I build with my patients through being an active member of our shared community. This allows me insight into individual circumstances that are critical to care, but would otherwise be almost impossible to obtain. I am excited to be a part of the community here in Ventura and look forward to getting to know my patients both inside and out of the clinic.
My future goals include practicing international medicine in Africa or Asia, while I am young and able, before eventually returning home to Montana. Away from medicine, I enjoy riding motorcycles, snowboarding, whitewater kayaking and learning to surf. A good day is any that involves some time spent outdoors.
